
Following a strong performance in the tournament’s wrap-up on Saturday, the triumphant Super Falcons won the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Best XI.
Esther Okoronkwo, captain of the Nigerian team, Rasheedat Ajibade, and Woman of the Match in the final game against Morocco were the obvious choices in the CAF’s list on Monday.
Michelle Alozie, the team’s full back, and Chiamaka Nnadozie, the tournament’s goalkeeper, were the other players on the list.

In three of Nigeria’s six matches, Ajibade’s performance as Woman of the Match highlighted her leadership and attacking prowess throughout the tournament.
In addition to a stellar campaign, Okoronkwo added two goals and four assists.
Refiloe Jane, Bambanani Jane, and Karabo Dhlamini, three South African players, and striker Ibtissam Jraidi and midfielder Chizlane Chebrak, were the other players who made the top eleven.
Portia Boakye and Grace Asantewaa of Ghana Black Queens complete the team.  ,
