From write-off to right on track – what is next for Rohl’s Rangers?

Rangers were 14-1 in the Scottish Premiership when Danny Rohl took over as head coach. That was a stunningly long odds for the Ibrox club.

Yet that was the dire circumstance they were in at the time. The pressure is definitely building as they are currently just six points behind Hearts, the leaders of the league.

Results turned quickly when the Germans arrived, but it took longer for the performances to come.

The head coach is now beginning to fire his squad, which many had previously opposed, and his additions to the winter will soon add to their support.

The Glasgow club’s hopes of progressing were thwarted by the 1-0 Europa League victory over Ludogorets, which earned Rohl and Rangers their seventh consecutive victories.
