Freddy Brazier’s father, who is alleged to have intervened in after their troubled relationship, is said to be expecting his first child.
Freddy Brazier is said to have been brought closer to his dad Jeff amid their recent fractious relationship as he is now expecting his first child. The youngest son of Jeff and the late Jade Goody is reportedly set to become a dad himself.
He reportedly turned to his presenter dad Jeff for advice following the news, which comes just days after Freddy, 20, candidly revealed his “tough” personal journey. Freddy’s relationship with Jeff became strained when decided to live with Jade’s mum Jackiey.
Jeff started a legal battle to stop him seeing grandmother a fter they were pictured smoking together. Earlier this week, Freddy claimed his nan Jackiey was the one who got him “hooked” on drugs as he started smoking at just 12-years-old.

As they were seen together in recent weeks, Freddy appeared to have reconciled with Jeff. After learning that his ex-girlfriend is pregnant, it is reported that Freddy contacted Jeff for advice.
It has blindsided him and helped to bring him and his father back together, but Jade isn’t there to see it, according to a source who spoke to the Mail on Sunday.
Freddy acknowledged the support Freddy has received, noting that “Jeff was one of the first people he decided to confide in to ask for advice.” He immediately stepped up and was willing to assist wherever he could.
Freddy decided to lay bare the extent of what he has been going through after revealing he was going to rehab earlier this year. “I’ve been smoking since I was 12,” he said.
“I’ve been to rehab, I’ve had manic episodes, I’ve been sectioned, and I’ve been in cells,” I said. A real journey has been taken, and it has been challenging. My nan unquestionably became the one who weeded me and made me feel like a kid again,” Freddy said.
Freddy regrettably explained how important it would be if he hadn’t given my mother Jackiey’s mother a prioritization of their relationship. She threatened to commit suicide if I [were not] around her.
And I kept thinking about it for so long that I spent months at my Nan’s, go on crazy ones, and “and I had that in my head.” Freddy revealed he had spent his entire life at a “boys holiday” instead of pushing my dad away.
He openly stated, “I’ve been smoking since I was 12 and it’s time to stop.” I relied on it to make me feel sane and somewhat okay, and it was a bad coping mechanism that led to an addiction.
Freddy described his desire to “be” clean so that he could mend relationships with Jackie and Jeff. He stated, “I want to be happy, be in a good relationship, and have a good relationship with my father and my Nana.”
The Mirror has contacted Freddy and Jeff’s representatives for comment.
