The inside scoop on Chelsea legend Frank Lampard, including his significant net worth, marriage to wife Christine, and managerial success right now.

Frank Lampard is a legend in the world of football, celebrated for his remarkable career with Chelsea where he bagged numerous honours including the Premier League and Champions League titles. In 106 appearances for England, he also netted 29 goals.

His managerial career has had both positive and negative outcomes, including stints at Derby County, Chelsea, Everton, and now Coventry City. Unlike his former England team-mates Steven Gerrard and Wayne Rooney, Lampard continues to work as a head coach.

The 47-year-old is currently at the top of the Championship table and enjoying a resurgence in his managerial career. In front of the Sky Sports cameras, Coventry will travel to newly-promoted Wrexham on Friday night for their next second-tier game.

The Welsh side, co-owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac, are no strangers to hosting high-profile visitors at the Racecourse Ground. However, the prospect of facing Lampard’s Coventry will be a daunting one for the Red Dragons, who are 16th in the standings, whereas Coventry head into the game after registering six league wins in a row and have already scored 34 goals in their opening 12 matches.

Lampard has since invested a sizable sum of money into a lavish home that he shares with his wife Christine and their children. Here’s the inside scoop on his wealth, relationship with Christine and how he’s breathed new life into his managerial career…

What is Frank Lampard’s net worth?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Lampard’s net worth is estimated to be around £75 million, with Christine being a millionaire by herself thanks to her successful TV career. Although this figure hasn’t been confirmed, the website also points out that he was making an annual salary of £9 million while playing for Everton.

According to sports-focused website Total Sportal, Lampard’s contract with Everton was worth £15million, inclusive of a signing bonus and various other incentives, many of which weren’t realised as he was sacked by the Toffees in January 2023. At the end of the 2022/23 season, he briefly made a brief but unsuccessful stint as interim manager at Chelsea.

Frank Lampard and Christine met when?

There was a touch of fate about Frank and Christine’s romance blossoming. At the Pride of Britain awards in October 2009, the two people first met.

Christine, who still had the surname Bleakley at the time, nearly missed the glittering ceremony altogether as she’d just finished presenting The One Show. She said, “I’m very, very glad we met when we met, it was definitely about timing for us,” when describing how she met her husband while making an appearance on Loose Women.

Although Christine remained skeptical at first, it became clear that Lampard was actually a devoted follower of the BBC program she co-starred with Adrian Chiles. She previously revealed: “Frank came over to me and said, ‘ I watch you on The One Show. ‘

I replied, “No, you don’t,” Who was last night’s guest? And he was able to tell me. Following the party, a awkward introduction was made. We both laughed as we proceeded.

“Then that was it. I had a caller’s number call my phone on the way home, and he somehow got my number. He picked up when I picked up him. I said, ‘ Wow, you’re keen, ‘ as a bit of a joke, and we chatted. He claimed he liked speaking with me and would like to communicate. It was a lot of fun.

The couple wed in 2015 and share two children, Patricia and Freddie. The late mother of Frank’s beloved mother is buried under the name Patricia. Luna and Isla, two of his older daughters, are also his parents, both of whom he was previously in a relationship with Elen Rivas.

Where does Frank Lampard live?

A magnificent £10 million mansion in London is where The Lampards call home. Christine gave viewers a glimpse into their domestic life during one Loose Women episode.

She revealed that she has her own “she shed” in the garden where she spends her days retreating. Although it’s tiny, she said, “I walked into it the other day and thought, This could be a good hiding place, maybe even for a brief period of five minutes.”

How did a family tragedy impact Frank Lampard’s life?

Lampard’s mother Pat passed away in April 2008, causing a devastating family tragedy for the 58-year-old. She entered intensive care for a “week-long process” after being admitted to the hospital with pneumonia, but her family was shocked when she died from a brain hemorrhage.

The Chelsea star, who was 29 at the time, was left heartbroken by the tragedy and broke down in tears on the pitch just days later as he scored to send the Blues through to the Champions League final for the first time. He later devoted his mother, who he described as his “best friend,” to many of his professional accomplishments.

Lampard admitted to the Diary of a CEO podcast that his mother was “everything” to him and wonders if he should have left the football team in the wake of the tragedy.

Life is bigger than that, in my opinion, but it was probably just a small coping mechanism. We won the second leg of a match between Liverpool and I scored a penalty in the final match, but now we’re being sent to the Champions League final.

” I remember sitting in the dressing room afterwards and I had this almighty sense of fatigue, body and mental fatigue. I went home and opened a beer, was unable to drink it, and went to bed. It was a week or two of exhausting pain.

Many years later, the feeling of grief catches up with me. I think I probably had a year where I was single, drinking a little bit but I was playing fantastic football, I had a really good year of football, it was we‎ird. Then, I met Christine, and I’m grateful that she came along at that time because I had a little trouble.

Who is Frank Lampard in charge of?

Coventry and Lampard’s coaching prospects in the Championship have been revived thanks to Lampard. Following club legend Mark Robins, who had led the Sky Blues from the fourth tier to the Premier League, presented him with a formidable challenge.

Lampard was already familiar with the second tier, having steered Derby to the play-off final in 2019. And he has made the most of that knowledge by helping Coventry, which had previously lost in the play-off semi-finals last year, to advance to Friday’s game against Wrexham.

Before the game, Lampard said, “We have to evaluate the opposition and comprehend how dangerous each game is.” Wrexham have gone away and got some good results this season already against good teams in the league. We simply must give our best and keep our focus on ourselves.
