Francis Ford Coppola, the director, is reportedly in a hospital in Rome. The Godfather director, 86, was in Italy to promote his film Megalopolis, which stars Aubrey Plaza, Shia LaBeouf, Aubrey Plaza, and Giancarlo Esposito, for the Magna Grecia Festival in Calabria.

The movie director, according to what reports, entered the hospital this morning for scheduled heart surgery, but after arriving, he reportedly had a mild cardiac arrhythmia and was then observed before the procedure.

According to ANSA, he spent a lot of time in Italy this summer scouting locations for his upcoming film, which is scheduled to premiere this fall.

He told the audience at the film festival, “Young people tell me the world is a mess, but I tell them there is no problem humanity can’t fix.” For the sake of our children, we must work together to create a fantastic new future. And tonight, we’re making a big future leap.

His representatives have contacted The Mirror for comment.

Following a screening of Megalopolis, the Apocalypse Now director made an appearance at San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts earlier this month to speak at a Q&A session.

Adam Driver stars as a wealthy and tortured visionary trying to build a utopian city while rowing with a conservative mayor in the decades-in-the-making project, which received mixed reviews. The movie grossed just over $ 14 million worldwide, compared to a whopping $ 120 million.

Coppola, however, said: “I lost my wife a year ago, around this time. I wasn’t bothered by the box office results. However, I always lived my life so that when I was about to pass away, I wouldn’t say, “Oh, I wish I had done this and I wish I had done that.” Instead, I tell myself, “I have to do this.”

“It was great to see my daughter win an Oscar.” My father won an Oscar, I watched. When I pass away, I won’t notice because I will be so busy saying all the things I have to do. I won’t be able to see it when I pass away. You are aware of the unexpected shutoff of your electric toothbrush? That is how death works.
