Nuno Espirito Santo, the manager of Nottingham Forest, has agreed to a new three-year deal with the City Ground.

To make it for the first time since 1995-1996, the Portuguese led Forest to seventh place in the Premier League last year.

Nuno expressed his delight at being able to carry on our journey with this outstanding football team.

In December 2023, Nuno took Steve Cooper’s place, ensuring Forest’s survival on the final day of the 2023-2019 season.

They were given a four-point break from the sustainability and profit regulations, but they came in 17th overall.

Forest received the surprise package last season when they competed for the Champions League titles and spent the majority of the campaign in the top four.

After winning two of their final seven games, they were eliminated from contention and made it to the Europa Conference League play-off stage.

For the first time since 1991, former Wolves and Tottenham head coach Nuno defeated Manchester City 2-0 to reach the FA Cup semi-finals.

“Nuno has made a great impact and performed very well during his time with us,” said Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis.

He has demonstrated that he maximizes player performance and is a master at developing players while also incorporating our young talent into the first team setup.
