In Pennsylvania, at least three police officers have died and two have been hurt.
Five officers were shot, three of whom died, according to Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Christopher Paris, who spoke to the media on Wednesday.

About 185 kilometers (115 miles) west of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro was rushing to the shooting site in North Codorus Township.
Attorney General of Pennsylvania, Dave Sunday, announced that he is also visiting the scene and that he is “praying for all those involved” on social media.
A neighborhood school district issued a shelter-in-place order despite the claim that the shooting was unrelated to schools and students. Later in the afternoon, the order was lifted. Authorities advised us to keep students and staff in our buildings as a precaution while several area roads are closed, according to the district’s statement.
A rural road through a farmland and farm fields in south-central Pennsylvania was the setting for the medical response.
Who was the shooter, according to the police, has not been revealed.
