Following a temporary suspension brought on by the system’s overwhelming traffic, the Civil Defense, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) announced that its 2025 recruitment portal will reopen on July 21, 2025.
In a statement, the board urged applicants to retrieve and submit their applications when the system returns online after a delay.
Please be informed that CDCFIB advises applicants who have successfully submitted their applications to retrieve their applications and finish them, according to the CDCFIB.

The organization explained that the application pause was necessary to make the portal more accommodating for the volume of applications. The Board anticipates that with this upgrade, all prospective applicants will have a seamless access to the platform and be able to submit their applications without technical issues.
“We sincerely apologize for the delay in the application submission process. The system had to be improved to accommodate all applicants, facilitating a smooth, transparent, and equitable hiring process, the statement read.
The Board cautioned applicants to beware of fraudsters who pretend to be recruitment agents while also reminding the general public that the entire application process is completely free at every stage.
Prospective candidates are advised to access the portal from July 21, 2025, via https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, to continue or submit their applications.
