EXCLUSIVE: Faye Winter has admitted to being single, why she is no longer looking for a relationship, and why she is proud of her success story.
Faye Winter has revealed that being a single means she no longer needs validation from others. The TV star and charity ambassador has never been afraid to share insights about her life, and even though she’s not looking for a relationship, she is.
Faye, 29, has been single since splitting from her ex-boyfriend two years ago and while many may have turned to dating apps, this couldn’t be further from her reality. Instead, Faye now knows her self-worth and while she’s had “sexy” men slide into her direct messages, she’s happy to embrace life on her own.
But she’s not entirely on her own, Exeter-born Faye, has her beloved dog Bonnie by her side, as well as her two “feral” ponies, Keith and Kevin, who she rescued from Dartmoor. “I’m always very vocal about my love of animals and it’s given me a sense of purpose, ” she exclusively told the Mirror.
Faye continued, claiming that her animals had helped her “experience and appreciate” things that were “bigger than herself.” She continued, “I love myself, but I love something that isn’t required to tell me or do anything.”
“It does enough just by getting me out every day and giving me a cuddle when I need one and things that we take for granted. Sometimes things that we look for in other people for validation. I’ve always found in my dogs and to have guide dogs in my life and see them go on and change people’s lives and in city centres, we really do take dogs for granted.
“A dog gives you so much more than we can appreciate, and it gives you a companion for life as well.” Faye explained that if her dog, Bonnie, had prevented her from succeeding as a single woman. She defended me, saying, “She saved me, and I always talk about my dog.” The star’s two rescue horses are another source of joy.
She described rescuing the two foals from an auction after they were “snatched” from the moors as “I’m really proud of myself because I had no idea what I was doing.” She described being invited to the Royal Windsor Horse Show earlier this week as “they’ve given me back again more than I could ever have wished for in love and opportunities.”
As a former estate agent, Faye admitted that she wanted to buy her own home before turning 30. She recently completed a trip to Africa and went on a safari, which was one of her other wishes. Although her social media profiles provide a glitzy view of her life, she has nonetheless experienced setbacks.
She said, “I’ve had the best time doing it on my own.” She continued, “So if I met someone, which I’m not looking for, but if I were to meet someone, I wouldn’t put that pressure on them to do something I could do on my own,” she continued.
It required a lot of diligent effort. I have to cry and doubt myself because I need to say, “You can do this, Faye, I’ll get there, eventually.” Despite all the difficulties, I can only work alone on a single income. That is one of my most proudest accomplishments, in my opinion. She says, “She might not have the most recent pair of trainers, but she’s happy in her own lane and hopes that her online fans will realize they don’t have to,” and that they must do so in accordance with certain standards. ” She said, “Success comes in so many different forms.
Faye’s cosmetic treatments are something that she is open to a lot. I’ve always said that if you’re insecure about something, you should be able to change it to improve your self-assurance, she said. She asserts, however, that regulations should be followed in order to regulate these practices.
Young women are putting themselves in so many risky situations for beauty standards, and those standards will never be lifted, Faye said. She continued, “I’ve found that in my later 20s I’ve become more self-assured than I was in my early 20s. It’s something that also comes with age.”
Faye encourages people to “do what you love” as she no longer cares about what people think of her, which has come with “inner confidence.” This, however, is not something she saw in herself after leaving the Love Island villa. The programme received over 24,000 complaints to Ofcom following a clash between her and her ex-partner.
However, Faye is unable to resist doing this. She continued, “I never let anyone take away from my responsibility for it, and I never let anyone.” Never attempted to refute what I had done or who I was as a person. I am aware that I wasn’t a very nice person when I saw that.
“I wanted to alter some aspects of myself, and I did it alone,” I said. You must either work through it or go through it, which is what you must do to improve yourself. I’m not perfect, and neither are we.
I’ve come out of it, I’m not the face you see all over every magazine, and I’m not the person who constantly flaunts it, but I also try to convey a message that you can’t be. You can literally live the life you want to live. One charity stood by her after she left Love Island, even though some brands didn’t collaborate with her.
She said, “I’ve always worked with guide dogs.” Faye, who is now Omaze’s Million Pound House Draw in the Cotswolds, has a similar feeling. Since I worked as an estate agent for ten years before Love Island, it’s something I’ve always yelled about and adored. So to get back into it and re-enter the door made me think of all the things I loved, who I was, and where it all began.
A person can win a home worth £5 million through the charity draw, but it also has the power to affect the lives of others. No one even knows that Guide Dogs is actually one of the biggest children’s services in the entire UK, according to Faye. She continued, “They support children across the country who have vision loss.”
They incredibly helped me while I was a volunteer for years, she said. Despite the negative feedback she received from the general public and brand deals, Faye explained that the charity refused to turn her back after Love Island. She continued, “Every day I’m incredibly appreciative of what they’ve done for me personally.”
In aid of the charity, Guide Dogs’ Ambassador Faye Winter is participating in the most recent Omaze Million Pound House Draw in Cotswolds. Omaze is currently hosting draw entries. cotswolds-v.co.uk/pages/. The draw ends on May 26th, 2018, at midnight on bank holiday.
