Everton sign Rohl on loan with obligation to buy

Freiburg’s Germany Under-21 midfielder Merlin Rohl has a contract extension that will require him to purchase for £17.3 million in 2026.

As part of David Moyes’ ninth summer transfer window, Rohl, 23, is regarded as an “energetic and athletic” central midfielder.
