Michelle Hunziker, the host of the Eurovision Song Contest this year, may be a very successful actress, but her life changed drastically after she resigned from a strict cult.

The Eurovision Song Contest grand final featured three presenters, including Michelle.

After he joined a cult, a huge Eurovision Song Contest 2025 star lived a very dramatic life. The live final of this year’s competition will begin in just a few hours thanks to Michelle Hunziker, one of the presenters.

The 48-year-old actress is a hugely successful actress, but her way of life is drastically different. The 69th final of the Basel, Switzerland song contest will be hosted by Michelle in addition to Sandra Struder and Hazel Brugger this year. As the UK’s act, Remember Monday, attempts to alter the scoring structure of the UK following a string of difficult years, the Swiss trio will deliver the results of each nation across the globe.

Michelle will undoubtedly be wearing all of her glamour to the final, but she did so after getting married to Italian pop singer Eros. She once had to abide by a string of very strict regulations. In 1998, the couple tied the knot, and the couple welcomed Aurora, 28, their second child. Unfortunately, their relationship ended in 2002.

Michelle eloped from a sect called Warriors of Light after her first marriage. The sect members were required to live strictly and eat only vegan food. Michelle and Clelia became close after she helped her husband, Eros, overcome sickness after suffering from a sore throat. Speaking about her experience in her 2018 memoir, A Seemingly Perfect Life, Michelle wrote: “‘Before the meetings we had to shower and put on white clothes.

On the threshold, we were always required to remove our shoes. Before moving on to the practice of lying down or meditating, we had to wash our hands once more and squat in circles on the sofas or lay cross-legged on the floor. She then continued to write: “She went on to write: “Clelia believed that sexuality was instinctive and low, making it dirty and unworthy.

We had to sublimate that instinct and convert it into inner energy. Michelle left the group at the age of 25 just five years after joining. Michelle’s divorce from Eros was allegedly the result of an attempt to deceive her from her family, according to allegations made in 2018.

Sandra Studer, a former Eurovision performer who broke records in 1991 with her performance under the name Sandra Simó, will join Michelle on stage. She moved up to fifth place overall with her song Canzone Per Te, which led to her successful media career. The mother-of-four appeared on programs like Takito and Swiss Award and gained a following on German and Swiss TV.

Sandra continued to sing, appearing in musicals like Sister Act and Spamalot. Luka and Sandra married in 1998, and they are the parents of four children. She expressed her excitement about returning to the music competition as a host after posting a photo of herself with her co-hosts Hazel and Michelle earlier this year.

She expressed her excitement. For taking part in such a special journey, thank you @eurovision. I’m eager to join you all for the ESC stage celebrations. Hazel, a Swiss-American comedian, poet, and presenter, completes the lineup. The mother-of-two was born in California’s San Diego, having a German and Swiss father. She started performing slam poetry at age 17 after the family relocated to Zurich, Switzerland.
