Kiambe, a 21-year-old Congolese-born singer, ended his performance in tears by singing heartfelt C’est La Vie, which was inspired by his mother’s wisdom regarding life’s ups and downs. In stark contrast, Vikman, who was covered in black leather, performed the risky German-Finnish song “Ich Komme,” which she soaring off onto a gigantic microphone amid sparks.
Other notable performances included Swiss singer Zoe Me with the potent Voyage and Maltese singer Miriana Conte with Serving, which bears a surname from Kant.
Following an opening sketch featuring a Mission Impossible-style quest to find the trophy before it was handed over to the hosts, 2024 Swiss champion Nemo made a return to the Eurovision stage to perform The Code in a full-length white dress.
