October and November are the dates for England’s two-test wheelchair rugby league Ashes series in Australia.
On October 30 and November 2, the World Champions will square off against the Wheelaroos, who are fourth in the global rankings.
They’ll play two matches against state rivals, Queensland on the Sunshine Coast on October 24 and New South Wales on October 24 in Sydney.
England now has a confirmed schedule for a four-game tour that was first announced without dates in December.
The England wheelchair team’s first trip to Australia since 2019 saw them triumph 84-28 in Sydney and 58-20 in Wollongong to win a two-Test series.
In their opening World Cup game, England went on to triumph over Australia in November 2022, winning 38-8 at the venue in London’s Copper Box.
The Ashes Tour will be confirmed at the end of the year, according to Martin Coyd, general manager of England’s wheelchair rugby league.
Our England players will enjoy playing Australia on their own territory, which is always a significant challenge, making it a significant event in its own right.
