England vs. Spain Euro 2025 final
Venue: St Jakob-Park, Basel, Date: Sunday, 27 July, Time: 17: 00 BST
Spain must be wary when the two countries meet again in the final, according to Mariona Caldentey, while England “has it inside them” to win Euro 2025.
The 2023 Women’s World Cup final, which Spain won 1-0 in Sydney, will take place on Sunday in Basel (17:00 BST kick-off).
In the Women’s Nations League this year, England defeated Barcelona 2-1 in a match that started out with a 1-0 victory at Wembley in February.
Caldentey, a midfielder who knows the Lionesses well, won the Women’s Champions League with Arsenal this year and was named the team’s player of the year.
According to Caldentey, “I know the footballers they are and what they can do.”
They are dangerous because it’s a final, even though they may not have the best football yet, but they have it inside of them. It will be a challenging but enjoyable game.
England, reigning champions, have overcomed a number of setbacks to reach their third major final in a row.
After falling to France in their opening group match, they advanced to the quarter-final penalty shootout against Sweden, which they needed in the semi-final to defeat Italy.
Spain, the reigning world champion, will face off in their first Euros final after winning six straight knockout matches at major tournaments.
“We can enjoy today.” After claiming 1-0 victory over Germany, two-time Ballon d’Or winner Aitana Bonmati said, “We have to start thinking about England tomorrow.”
“I am aware that England has played twice in 120 minutes. Our team has faith in us. Our players are trusted by us.
