Heather Knight, the ex-captain of England, has agreed to a new deal with Somerset until the end of the 2026 campaign.
The 34-year-old has 295 caps in all competitions and helped her nation win the 2017 World Cup.
Knight, who has a hamstring injury against West Indies and has scored 7 298 runs for England and taken 84 wickets, hasn’t played for Somerset since May.
She stated on the club’s website, “I’m really pleased that I have had a longer relationship with Somerset.”
