All Stars from I’m A Celebrity is rumored to be returning, and according to the most recent rumors, Adam Thomas from Emmerdale is in “advanced talks” to appear on the ITV show.
A former soap star is reportedly in discussions to appear on the next series of I’m A Celebrity spin-off All Stars. Adam Thomas is said to be in “advanced talks” with ITV about signing up for it after reaching the final of the main series.
Adam, 36, known for his roles on shows like Waterloo Road and Emmerdale, was a campmate in the jungle in Australia in 2016. He placed third in the final, behind runner-up Joel Dommett and winner Scarlett Moffatt, that year.
Three years later, Adam co-hosted I’m a Celebrity: Extra Camp. He fronted the companion show with Emily Atack for one series in 2019 and his former campmate Joel also featured.
It’s now rumoured that Adam could take part in spin-off All Stars, which was filmed in South Africa for its debut series in 2022. A second series is reportedly due to be filmed in the country this autumn ahead of airing next year.
A source told the Sun: “This will be a glorious return for Adam as he established himself as a true fan favourite through his series in camp and then on the spin-off show.” They added that he’s remained on TV since then though.
They continued, “He’s remained in the limelight with Waterloo Road and then on ITV with brother Ryan on the challenge show 99 To Beat.” He should now make his return to the wild and declare his innocence as Mr. Bushtucker Trial.
Alongside his career on TV, Adam has also made headlines in recent years after being diagnosed with arthritis. The actor has raised awareness of the condition, having spoken about his experience, including in posts on social media.
Former Strictly Come Dancing star Adam initially shared that he had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. He’s since said that he has psoriatic arthritis – described by the NHS as a long-term condition that causes joint pain, swelling and stiffness. The NHS states that there’s currently no cure for arthritis, but that treatments that can help slow it down.
In an update posted on Instagram just last week, Adam spoke about taking medication but expressed hope that “this disease can be cured naturally”. He told his followers that he would like to not have to take medication one day.
He wrote, “I lost hope, … I lost hope,” along with a photo of himself injecting medication into his thigh. Never did I anticipate returning to my former self… I made a mistake. Stay strong, to anyone who is losing hope and struggling with arthritis! Although the road is long and agonizing, I promise you that you will!
He continued to claim that his medication had “changed” his life and that he should have been given biologic injections once every two weeks. No side effects, vomiting up, no nausea, no side effects, Adam claimed! Nothing but pain is free”!
Adam continued, “I am aware that this isn’t going to cure the disease, but it has given me a life I’ve never imagined I’d have again!” I’m still working hard and focusing on diet and recovery because I believe this illness can be treated naturally and want to stop taking any medications one day.
He concluded by stating to his supporters that he wanted to “bring hope” to those who suffer from arthritis and raise awareness. He claimed, “I don’t think it’s talked about enough.” In his post, he urged readers to “don’t lose hope, don’t lose yourself to this disease.”
When I’m a Celebrity… South Africa, which is frequently referred to as All Stars, had a number of ex-campmates when it first launched in 2022. After finishing second on I’m A Celebrity in 2006, Myleene Klass won the spin-off’s first season.
Adam is the latest former campmate rumoured for a potential return. Earlier this week, it was reported that comedian Seann Walsh, 39, has been in talks to appear on the spin-off after placing fifth on I’m A Celebrity in 2022.
Both Gemma Collins and pp” target=”_blank” aria-label=”Harry RedknaLink opens in a new tab.” tabindex=”0″>Harry Redknapp had already been linked as potential campmates.
