1. Sammy Winward and ex David Dunn’s daughter Mia Winward-Dunn have been locked in a sad feud for almost two years. The former Emmerdale star and her footballer ex, who are both parents to Mia, haven’t spoken to Mia since 2024 after she joined OnlyFans and began creating adult content.
2. In August 2024, it was reported the former Katie Sugden actress hadn’t spoken to her daughter in more than four months – after Mia began selling racy photos of herself on the adult site.
3. Mia claimed to be earning £30,000 a month on OnlyFans at the time, but claimed her mum “said some pretty mean things” the last time the pair spoke. Mia told The Sun in 2024: “I absolutely love my mum and I love all of my family but none of them speak to me now.”
4. Nearly two years on, Mia has announced the happy news that she is expecting her first child, but revealed neither parents know that she is pregnant. “I am emotionally vulnerable while I’m pregnant and I really don’t want a big, stressful situation,” she told The Sun.
5. Mia has said the happy baby news has been ‘bittersweet’ and has made her re-evaluate the fallout with her parents. She said: “Now that I have my own baby inside me, I just couldn’t imagine not speaking to my child.”
6. Mia revealed that despite her fallout with her parents, which spilled across to the rest of her family, she is in contact with one member of her family – but didn’t reveal their identity.
7. But, Mia appears ready to reconcile with her parents as as she said they’ve “got a lot to work on”. She added: “There’s a lot to forgive and that process hasn’t even started yet.”
8. The 20 year old also revealed she decided to stop creating content for OnlyFans ‘the moment’ she found out she was expecting – but doesn’t regret the path she took, saying she spent the “best year or two of my life traveling the world for shoots with amazing people”.
9. However, former party girl Mia has opted for a more quiet lifestyle now. She lives in a rural home in the Lake District with the father of her child, who she has been in a relationship with for one year. She has chosen not to name her beau.
10. In August 2024 it was reported that Sammy had cut ties with her daughter Mia four months before the news broke, over an alleged disagreement over Mia joining OnlyFans. Mia previously claimed her mum was “jealous” of her success and said the soap star refused to move past their disagreement. At the time the feud was revealed, Mia spoke about her strained relationship with her parents, explaining “I think she’s got some animosity towards me. I think she is maybe just jealous about me doing so well and so quickly.”
