Rebecca Sarker, who plays Manpreet Sharma in the ITV soap, won over her fans when she exhibited her lace pyjamas after a day of outdoor cycling.

Emmerdale star Rebecca Sarker has stunned fans with a tantalising Christmas snap. The 50-year-old soap star looked away from the camera as she posed in a lace top and pyjamas while warming up after being out for a festive cycle.

Rebecca, who has played Manpreet Sharma since 2018, teased her fans on social media with the tasteful photo. The TV babe showed her fans how comfortable she is at home after a day out on her wheels by flashing a coy smile and her hair around her shoulder.

Sharing the snap on her main Instagram grid, Rebecca wrote: “Ditched the bib shorts. Back in the pjs. #christmascheer #warm #cosy.” She added a no cycling sign emoji and a smiling face emoji to her post – which came soon after she shared a batch of snaps showing her in full lycra and out cycling in pale winter sunshine.

The Instagram photo quickly attracted thousands of likes and hundreds of comments from admirers who were quick to praise the TV actress for how amazing she looked in her loungewear. Rebecca explained earlier this year how her husband gave her the confidence to post more intimate photos online.

She previously admitted to telling The Sun that she had been putting on Lycra pants and a sports bra for some Emmerdale stunt work. I took a picture of my husband because I had been exercising and felt pretty good.

“He said, ‘Post it on Instagram’. My immediate reaction was, ‘No, no, I can’t post that’. But after checking with the production team asking if it was too outrageous, I was assured it wasn’t.” She went on to assure fans that she would never go as far as sharing x rated images on OnlyFans – which is something her Emmerdale character did do.

Rebecca credits Emmerdale with boosting her self-assurance in wearing glamorous dresses, thanks to the awards shows she has had the honor of watching. The actress was questioned about her involvement on Emmerdale in 2022 as it celebrated its 50th year on air.

When asked if the cast’s inclusion had altered her life, she responded, “Of course it has, not least because it occasionally allows me to wear some fantastic dresses on a red carpet.” Every job has the potential to transform acting for you; it’s a very temporary existence.

Being a regular in Emmerdale has given me the opportunity to establish some roots, professionally speaking, and it has given me some stability that is difficult to find in this profession. I could work abroad for two months, then in a studio doing an advertisement for a couple of days or performing theatre with different companies.

She recalled one of the most entertaining scenes from her time in the Dales so far, with an on-set accident that left her speechless in the middle of a dramatic scene involving her character, Charles Anderson, played by Kevin Mathurin, Emile John, Ethan Anderson, and Rishi Sharma, played by Bhasker Patel.

When Manpreet, Charles, Ethan, and Rishi engaged in a showdown on the high street, Rebecca recalls that she discovered that his wife isn’t quite the woman she thought she was and that she had a past relationship with Charles and Ethan.

“During one of my moving, tearful monologues, he accidently clicked the unlock button on the car, and it kept going off repeatedly,” Bhasker said, “It was very heightened, highly charged, and emotional. I was so entertained by it. Ethan is upset that Manpreet leaves him, and it occurs again.
