Emmerdale’s Mackenzie Boyd has had his fair share of heartbreak on the soap but away from the Dales actor Lawrence Robb is in a loving relationship
Mackenzie Boyd’s had a turbulent love life on Emmerdale but in real life, actor Lawrence Robb is loved-up with a fellow thespian.
Lawrence shot to fame when he joined the ITV soap in 2020 as Mack, the sister of Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb). And over the years, he’s played a part in several big storylines.
Especially recently, as not only was Mack involved in the catastrophic crash in the Corriedale episode, but he’s also had to deal with his pregnant wife Charity’s (Emma Atkins) recent lies and deceit.
And while Mack has faced his fair share of heartbreak on the soap, away from the Dales actor Lawrence is currently in a relationship with Pamela Blair.
Lawrence first sparked speculation of a ‘secret’ girlfriend in 2024 when he shared a break to Antiqua, featuring himself on the trip with just a hint of Pamela’s tattooed arm, hinting he wasn’t alone. The couple, who keep things low-key, then made their debut at the Scottish Baftas.
Since then, the pair have shared the odd adorable update as they spend time with each other and their gorgeous pooches, including an idyllic break away to the Cornwall coast.
Theatre and musical fans will recognise Pamela for her role in the hugely successful The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical, playing the roles of Chanteuse and Emily, appearing alongside Vanessa Williams.
Her other theatre credits include Beauty and the Beast, Oklahoma!, Cinderella, 42nd Street and Curtains. The talented actress has also appeared in the film Tomorrow Morning and made several TV appearances in BBC Proms and ITV’s The Olivier Awards.
Lawrence also gushed over Pamela during an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine last year. It was revealed during his chat with Lorraine Kelly that the interview was almost disrupted after he managed to forget his interview attire.

“I’m so glad that you’re sitting there looking so refined, so elegant, so beautiful. Can I tell the nation that you forgot your clothes this morning? You didn’t turn up naked or anything, you had your sport stuff on and someone came to your rescue” Lorraine said.
Thankfully, Lawrence’s girlfriend Pamela made sure that he got to wear his planned outfit. He said: “My gorgeous girlfriend left halfway through our car journey here and went back to the house to grab it and then got the tube here… it was very dramatic. She’s a keeper.”
