Marks and Spencer shoppers are racing to snap up the cosy borg winter coat after Emma Louise Connolly raved about the fit, and it’s still in stock in all sizes
If you’re on the hunt for a winter coat that’ll keep you warm, won’t break the bank, and looks both timeless and effortlessly cool, then your search might finally be over. Emma Louise Connolly has shared one of her most recent purchases from high street fave Marks & Spencer, and it may just be the winter coat of dreams.
The Borg Collarless Double Breasted Longline Coat is a brand new launch on the M&S website, where you can snap it up for £100 just in time for the temperatures to drop even further. It’s currently still available in all sizes from extra small to extra large, although like most M&S pieces the chances of it selling out quickly are high, so you might want to be quick if you plan on snapping it up.

Emma couldn’t get enough of the coat, posting about it on her Instagram and calling it a “15/10” and saying her followers “gotta run” to buy it. She also posted some sizing advice on her Instagram stories, writing: “I sized up one size for a slightly oversized fit. It hangs so nicely and isn’t thick so a jumper doesn’t feel bulky underneath.”
The Collarless Double Breasted Longline Coat is made from a plush, cosy borg material that keeps you warm without feeling too heavyweight, and it has a longline fit that keeps you warm from head to toe. Or at least, from shoulder to shin.
What makes the M&S coat a stand out though is its more modern silhouette and design details. The collarless V-neckline gives it a sleek, contemporary look, whilst the relaxed shape and contrast buttons help give it some laid-back edge. Although you can throw it on over jeans and a hoodie or jumper like Emma, you could just as easily wear it over an evening dress if you’re heading to an event or winter wedding.
