Emir Of Gusau Dies At 71, Gov Lawal Mourns

Ibrahim Bello, the Emir of Gusau, passed away on Friday morning in Abuja after a lengthy illness, according to governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State.

Governor Lawal described the death of the Emir as a personal loss in a condolence message, claiming that the late monarch was a pillar of state wisdom and guidance.

The governor reported, “I received with deep sadness the news of our father’s passing, His Royal Highness, Dr. Ibrahim Bello, the Emir of Gusau.

He expressed his condolences to the entire Zamfara State population, including the Gusau Emirate, the immediate and extended families of the late Emir.

The people of Zamfara, the North, and Nigeria as a whole are grieving greatly as a result of His Highness’s passing. He proclaimed that he had a supportive royal father and that he had lived his life for the advancement of our nation.

Bello ascended to the throne on March 16, 2015, as the 15th Emir of Gusau. &nbsp,

The monarch was well-known for his unwavering faith and commitment over his 10-year rule.

The late monarch, who had previously held the position of Permanent Secretary in the former Sokoto State and Zamfara, was a seasoned civil servant before becoming Emir.
