Emily Atack is a master of the soft glam makeup look, and there’s one smudgy cream eyeliner that’s her secret to a smokey eye – and it’s just been slashed to £23

Rivals star Emily Atack is known for her go-to soft glam makeup look, and her makeup artist Lydia Barnes recently shared exactly how you can copy her signature smokey eye at home. Sharing a close up of Emily’s beauty look from a recent event, Lydia shared there’s only two products you need to recreate the sultry cat eye that Emily is known for.

One is a cool toned brown eyeshadow, like MAC’s Small Eye Shadow in shade Coquette, and the other is a smudgy cream eyeliner. The liner is a key part of the look, and Lydia shared that her favourite pick is Bobbi Brown’s Long-Wear Cream Liner Stick in shade Panther. It’s usually £29.50, but you can currently snap it up at Boots with 20% off, bringing it down to £23.60.

The Bobbi Brown liner is the perfect choice for creating the look, with its creamy texture making it easy to blend. It also has a sharp point that allows you to still be precise and defined, so you can play around with your eye makeup.

Lydia advised the best way to get Emily’s look is by taking a small brush and using it to smudge the eyeliner out before it sets, creating that soft, diffused look that still has depth. The Long-Wear Cream Liner Stick is also waterproof, non-creasing, non-flaking, non-smudging and doesn’t settle for up to 24 hours, so once your look is in place it won’t budge.

It even comes with a built in sharpener so you can keep it on point on the go. A similar creamy liner is Zoeva’s Velvet Love Eyeliner Pencil which is slightly more affordable at £18.50. It also comes in 18 different shades, and various finishes including matte, metallic and glitter.

However the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Liner Stick Emily uses has been a hit with beauty fans at Boots. One said: “A firm favourite of mine and makeup bag must have! Gives beautiful results and is buildable so you can achieve the look you want.”

Another praised: “Really does stay put, the best eyeliner I’ve ever used.”

One found the sticking power a little too good, saying: “Having a real problem with removing the glitter particles. It’s very easy to spread when removing, and being a contact lens wearer I’m very wary of eye infections. In fact the morning after using this pencil one of my eyes was puffy underneath. Very disappointing as I’ve bought two and love the colours but value my eyes more! A very expensive mistake.”

However another had the opposite issue: “I didn’t find this eyeshadow stick long lasting, the formula is buttery and does not really set for me and runs off my eyelids quite fast and also the stock itself broke off quite soon after purchasing.”

On the other hand, other shoppers found the Long-Wear Cream Liner Stick super long lasting, with one even writing: “This eyeliner is long lasting with a good pigment. My only issue is that I find it hard to sharpen into a point and therefore can’t manage a winged eye with it. It did last a full day by the pool in summer in Dubai so it’s definitely one to take to hotter climes.”
