Ed Sheeran, a pop star, has revealed that his marriage has “completely changed” since having his two children. He also provides a unique insight into his union with Cherry Seaborn.
Pop star Ed Sheeran has revealed that his marriage ‘completely changed’ since having children with his wife Cherry Seaborn, as he said it can be ‘stressful’ and you can have ‘big arguments’.
Ed has been married to his wife for nine years, and they share five-year-old Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran and three-year-old Jupiter Seaborn Sheeran together. They often keep their personal life private, but the Perfect singer recently opened up about his marriage.
Anyone who has two young children will understand how completely their relationship completely changes, Ed said. You transform from being a couple to a unit. There are some serious arguments that can arise.
Ed continued, saying that while his albums contain numerous musical tributes to his wife, it is important to be honest and that his songs “inspire heightened emotions.”

He claimed that “She knows that I write songs like Don’t Look Down or Wargame, and it’s a moment in time,” but he didn’t believe it when he told The Sun.
The singer also discussed his marriage at the Spotify Q&, A, where he said it’s important to be open about ups and downs and that “conflict” is a part of any relationship.
The singer of “Cherry knows I write about everything,” he said. There are songs like “Perfect,” but there are also those that deal with real conflict. That’s a component of any relationship, and I believe being open to it is crucial.
He also discussed how his work/life balance has changed since meeting Cherry and having children. Ed claimed that he was once “100% work,” but that he is now “70% family and 30% music.”
Balance is a success, according to Ed, not just a healthy thing. I want to say that I lived those days and enjoyed every minute when I look back on those years with my family and friends.
The proud parents first met while attending Thomas Mills High School in rural Suffolk when they were just 11 years old. They reconnected in New York City and began dating in 2015 before getting married two years later despite having separated after school.
Ed shared the news of his engagement on Instagram with a sweet photo of them as he wrote: “Got myself a fiancé just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats (Dorito and Calippo) are chuffed as well.” One year later they said ‘I do’ in a low-key ceremony a few days before Christmas.
It follows after Ed’s latest music video where he recreated key moments in his real relationship but with Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor. It was shot on an iPhone and shows Ed and Phoebe’s characters first meeting at a restaurant, followed by moments from various dates, such as picnics, bar-hopping and even sharing the stage at one of Ed’s stadium tours.
