Ebonyi Police Officer Dies During Meeting After Breathing Difficulties

Ogbon-inu Taiwo, an Ebonyi State Police Command officer, passed away during a meeting with breathing difficulties. &nbsp,

The incident was confirmed by Ebonyi State police. Taiwo passed away on Wednesday at a management meeting held at the Abakaliki commissioner’s office.

Around 10:30 am, the senior officer began breathing difficulties and gasping for breath during the meeting, according to sources.

He was immediately taken to the Command’s medical staff at the Police HQ in Abakaliki, where he was immediately taken to the police medical center.

The officer was declared dead despite all efforts to revive him.

Joshua Ukandu, the Ebonyi Command’s police public relations officer, described the Taiwo as a dedicated officer who rendered commitment and professionalism to the Force.

Prior to his passing, the officer held the position of State Intelligence Department (SID) Assistant Commissioner of Police.
