Former Eagles guitarist Don Felder suffered a medical emergency while performing on stage on Thursday.
The veteran musician, 77, had to be rushed for medical treatment as he played the band’s hit Tequila Sunrise on the Rock Legends cruise. The artist appeared unsteady on his feet during his performance and is said to have abruptly stopped strumming and stared offstage.
It’s claimed a crew member on the cruise rushed to help him as he tried to speak into the microphone. He was seen swaying as he was escorted offstage with his bandmates as the crowd tried to shout words of support.

On Friday, Don’s team revealed he had been suffering from dehydration. They claimed the star is now feeling “much better,” saying he received medical attention on board. The statement read: “We appreciate everyone’s concern regarding Don Felder’s abrupt stop to his show last night on the Rock Legends Cruise.
“After receiving medical attention, he was deemed to be suffering from dehydration. He was given fluids and is feeling much better. To ensure he has ample time to rehydrate and recover fully, we are working on rescheduling today’s shows and adjusting the remainder of the cruise schedule accordingly.”
Adding their thanks for the concern, they then told his fans to remember to “drink your water”.
His manager also said :”By medical rules of the cruise, he’ll be in quarantine for the next 24 hours to rest. Arrangements are being made for him to play on Saturday and Sunday.”
The Rock Legends Cruise runs until February 17 and Felder has a number of other performances lined up in March and April. He is set to hit the road for a nationwide tour with Styx and Kevin Cronin at the beginning in May.
Don was the lead guitarist of the Eagles between 1974 and 2001. However, he had a huge falling out with co-lead singer and frontman Glenn Frey, putting a blotch on the successful time with the band.
