The wresting-legend-turned-actor’s alias “dwayne Johnson” has been given a new nickname after his slimmed-down body was showcased at the premiere of his new movie.
After displaying his slimmed-down physique, Dwayne Johnson has earned a new nickname from his fans.
The wrestler-turned-actor, 54, is known across the world as The Rock, which was initially a moniker he acquired during his WWE days, but after showing off dramatic weight loss, some social media users were quick to point out that he is due a new name in light of his change in appearance.
One fan wrote, “Gonna have to start calling him Dwayne the Pebble Johnson,” while another, who shared the same joke, responded, “Gonna have to start calling him Dwayne the Pebble Johnson.”

The Moana star plays MMA fighter and UFC pioneer Mark Kerr inn the new biopic The Smashing Machine, and is thought to have lost around 60lbs in total. He is normally thought to weigh around 300lbs, meaning that his new weight currently sits somewhere around 240lbs. At the premiere of the film, The Rock posed alongside Kerr and opted for a slim grey suit.
At one point, The Rock cosied up to co-star Emily Blunt, who plays his love interest in the movie, and the Devil Wears Prada actress wowed with her 0long glittering number. Fans around the world were full of praise for his big change in looks, and some even questioned whether his usual frame was sustainable in the long run.
The Rock is close to 60, according to one fan. Physically speaking, maintaining that size was not [possibly] possible. The same thing happened to Dave Battista. They should be seen. The Hollywood star previously expressed gratitude for the opportunity to witness his transformation in front of the mirror, explaining to Vanity Fair, “I just sat in front of that mirror for three to four hours and watched it all change. There were roughly 13 or 14 different prosthetics. Thoughtfully subtle, but very powerful, in my opinion.

Fans of the movie star were shocked when production images first appeared last year when people posted pictures of him on set.

Blunt played Kerr’s then-partner Dawn Staples in promotional shots after the film’s other images were released as promotional shots. In one image, Dwayne is completely shirtless and wearing only two red shorts in the corner of a boxing ring. Emily, who was glancing at her partner while wearing a low-cut white tank top, stood out from the ring to his side.
The movie depicts both Kerr’s rise to fame and his demise as a result of an opioid addiction. This is the film about Mark’s life, which also fuses fiction and the real world, despite the fact that an HBO documentary about his life was released in 2002.
