‘Dubois can reach heights of Fury & AJ’

If Daniel Dubois maintains the momentum he is currently having, he could undoubtedly surpass Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.

Dubois, a 27-year-old boxer, is one of the few British fighters who can claim to be the new face of boxing. He is still relatively young, has competed at the highest level, and is relatively young.

In the beginning, we sparred frequently. Although our previous boxing training was vastly different, with Dubois coming from the more conventional amateur set-up and me coming from the unlicensed white-collar scene.

We’ve been together about three years, and he was a different Dubois at the time.

He seems like he has matured, found his footing and found his self-confidence.

It is a habit to do that to you when you win. All his experiences, the wins, the losses, the hard times and the good times, have built a level of self-belief.

Yes, you must perform the job in the ring and outsmart opponents in eminent fashion, and all of the rest, but Fury and AJ have both demonstrated the same prowess and star power to take the title of division head.

In terms of their behavior and star power, AJ and Fury are completely different. With AJ it’s that calm, cool, confident, down-to-earth chilled guy. With Fury, he’s louder, braggadocious, entertaining.

Dubois is a quiet man, but his one-liners are making him more of a character. Because that personality can come in a wide range of personalities, he will create his own version of what that star power looks like.

In order to get to that level, though, he needs to get past a tough Joseph Parker – which is no easy task.

In boxing, there is always a point to prove with someone. Some people will still criticize Dubois’ defeat to Joe Joyce in 2020 and claim that there are flaws.

Dubois’ defeat by Oleksandr Usyk is not to be ashamed of in any way, despite the fact that some will choose to take particular actions from that defeat and see how they relate to the Parker fight.

However, Dubois’ career has so many advantages. Just look at his performances against Filip Hrgovic, Jarrell Miller and Joshua.

Dubois and Usyk would then have to compete for all four world titles if they were to win.

It’s ridiculous to bet against Usyk right now. He has twice demonstrated his worth to AJ and Fury. It would not be exaggerated to say that he could successfully defeat Dubois twice.

Usyk can learn even right in the middle of a fight because he always finds a way to win. Dubois would have no chance whatsoever, though, in my opinion.

In Riyadh, it was speculated that I might challenge Dubois. Things don’t always go together in boxing, which is a funny game. Every option is always being discussed in the background.

I am a very game and up-for-it kind of guy. I would have seized it with both hands if the chance had been there to me fully.

Although this wasn’t my choice, I am so happy Parker got his shot. He’s undoubtedly one of the nicer boxers; he’s a lot of fun to be around.

Even before I was making any waves on the big stage in boxing, when I was fighting lower on cards, he’d always stop, make time and say hello.

He has won victories over Zhilei Zhang and Deontay Wilder, and Andy Lee, his trainer, is in charge of a lot of that. It demonstrates the value of having a positive relationship with a great coach.

I like how Parker handled himself during the build-up, letting Dubois know he is a proven pro who has endured storms in the past.

It is going to be a great fight. Both of them experienced a minor decline in their careers before a significant rise. It’s too difficult to predict a winner right now because they both are extremely successful right now.
