Dolly Parton shared a sweet message saying what she is thankful for on Thanksgiving, putting her health worries at the forefront of her mind.

Dolly Parton shared a touching holiday message on Thanksgiving. The Country icon, 79, gave fans a festive message on social media amid their concern for her health.

The singer has missed a number of recent appearance as she focuses on her health. But she was full of cheer on the holiday season stateside. Taking to Instagram, the 9 to 5 songstress revealed all she was thankful for in what has been a tough year.

She began, “Well, it’s Dolly here.” And I sincerely wish you and your family a happy Thanksgiving. I’m so grateful for all of you and the memories we’ve made over the years.

She went on: “So happy Thanksgiving to everyone. And just know that I will always love you.” Fans were quick to comment on her upload and praise the star. One user wote: “Your makeup looks beautiful. The whole world loves you, Dolly.”

Another remarked, “Dolly, you exist, and that makes the world a better place.” And a third person said, “We will always love you”!

Earlier this month, Dolly delighted fans by appearing via video link amid health concerns. She appeared to accept an honorary Oscar after she had cancelled her Governors Awards appearance over health concerns. She went on to give an emotional speech to play down fears for her.

After explaining how much she valued the award she was receiving, the singer began, “From my heart to yours, I truly thank you.” I had 12 children growing up. That alone demonstrates how crucial sharing is, she continued.

“Don’t get me wrong, we didn’t have that much to share. But my mom and daddy showed me by example that the more you give, the more blessings come your way.”

Dolly acknowledged prior to the video message that she couldn’t attend in person. She said in a video shared on Dollywood’s Instagram page, “I really wish I could be with you in person today.

“But you probably know that I’ve been having a few health issues this fall, and my doctors advised me to take it easy for a short while.”

The Governors Awards from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which Dolly missed, were other events. Before she left, she had already withdrawn in favor of the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.
