After her performance at the massive BBC Radio 2 in the Park event in Chelmsford, Dermot O’Leary was left red-faced during an interview with Belinda Carlisle.
Dermot O’Leary made an awkward presenting blunder while chatting with Belinda Carlisle following her Radio 2 in the Park performance. The presenter was backstage with Sara Cox when they discussed the singer’s fabulous performance at Hylands Park in Chelmsford.
However, Dermot quickly called him over for a chat after spotting a band member’s satirical t-shirt. Come over, Dermot said, “I have to see that.
He continued, “Come here, that must be on television.” Dermot moaned, “Ooh Hendon is a place on Earth,” while giggling while reading the black t-shirt with white writing.
Hendon is a place on earth, Dermot said, “for anyone watching from a particular borough of London.”

He continued, “It’s just stole the show,” but it quickly got interrupted when it revealed it was actually Sunderland’s original show.
Dermot remarked, “Oh, is that Sunderland, is that?” while laughing at his error. Oh, you’re great. Dermot wished the band well and quickly returned to Belinda, where Sara had continued the interview, laughing off his error.
“How did the crowd fare?” Sara quickly said, “It seemed like they were all having a good singalong.”
After a while, they “all looked like ants,” Belinda joked. She continued, “I think they were singing along and they were into it,” adding that playing in large venues like this was easier for her.
It came after Jessie J gave an emotional message on her return to the stage following her cancer treatment. Jessie, 37, announced in June that she’d been diagnosed with “early” breast cancer and later revealed that she had surgery following the diagnosis.
She then stated last month that she needed to postpone her tour. She stated to her fans at the time that she needed to have another operation by the end of the year.
The Price Tag singer explained her diagnosis to the Essex crowd by saying, “I had breast cancer surgery today, and the last show I went to, I had no idea what was going to happen.” And I’m still in the recovery phase.
Sh continued, “I’m just so appreciative that I’m here. You have no idea how thankful I am to have so many of you back after so many years. I really feel like a young child who continues to pursue my passions.
And she continued, “The occasion is made even more special because her son Sky, two, was present watching.” My son is seeing me sing on stage for the first time, which is another unique thing that is happening today.
She addressed him by saying, “Hi Sky. Hello, my child. I adore you.
