Ousmane Dembele, who won the Ballon d’Or, is expected to start for Paris Saint Germain against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League, according to a source close to the club.
Luis Enrique’s side, which has been dealing with injuries this season, will receive a welcome boost from the news.
Dembele, 28, has missed six weeks due to a hamstring issue he experienced early in September while on international duty with France.
He spent the previous week recovering at a medical facility in Qatar before resuming his training.

He was substituted for PSG’s entertaining 3-3 draw against Strasbourg on Friday, but he will be a member of the first team squad for Tuesday’s game in Germany, according to the source.
Images of Dembele training were released by PSG on Saturday.
In Strasbourg, the reigning European and French champions welcomed back Desire Doue and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who had been substituted.
However, they still don’t have midfielders Fabian Ruiz and Joao Neves, despite reports that the squad’s captain Marquinhos has traveled to Germany with them.
Luis Enrique stated on Thursday that the club did not want to “take risks with the players’ health” and that “I don’t know when the injured players will return.”
