In the Ninties and the early Noughties, Dawson Taylor was regarded as one of the most recognizable characters in The Primrose Hill Set, well-known for their wild partying, but her life is very different now.
Davinia Taylor, who turned her back on the infamous Primrose Hill Set, is unrepentant. The group was well known for its wild ways, which included partying close to dawn with one another, in the late 1990s and early 1990s.
The first “It Crowd” featured the likes of Davinia, Kate Moss, Sadie Frost, Patsy Kensit, Liam and Noel Gallagher, Meg Mathews, Pearl Lowe, Jude Law, and Danny Goffey. The group made the most of their fame and wealth throughout the Britpop era, making the most of it.
However, the group also endured their fair share of struggles over the years, which many of them have discussed publicly, and ultimately come the lows. Davinia has now made an effort to turn her back on the notorious group and lead a much more peaceful life, free of drugs and alcohol.
David Beckham’s best friend Dave Gardner and their home in NW1 became the setting for some of the biggest parties after their union, the heiress of a £200 million toilet roll empire. She did, however, experience some struggles following the breakdown of their marriage.
Her current life is very different. She remarked in a candid interview that she was drunk, knackered, and hangover-prone. Everyone was probably in their 20s, I believe. She continued, “I mean, all of my mates were partying exactly the same, and every one of my friends drank more than I did, but they’re just not lucky enough to be an alcoholic.”
They still have a hangover on a Monday because they are still in the grey area. That would be drinking in the grey area. I’m therefore fortunate to have gotten sober at age 30. Everyone was chaotic in my 20s, but in my 30s, 40s, and 50s, it was simple. However, Davinia experienced a turning point.
He explained that having a son made her realize that being hungover with a child wasn’t what she wanted to do, so she drank a lot of alcohol. She added that drinking alcohol “makes you feel depressed” is a neurotoxin.
Davinia now credits a healthy diet and good nutrition with giving her incredible looks after saying goodbye to her wild ways.
Despite being three years shy of her 50th birthday, her dramatic life change has been so effective. She is now the biological age of 20. She also owns and imports some of the best ingredients from around the world, including WillPowders, her own natural food supplement company.
The Primrose Hill Set still communicate with one another today, but they are no longer friends. Kate Moss was reportedly present in the VIP tent at Noel’s former wife’s wedding, Meg Mathews, who was also reported to be there just days before the final Oasis concert at Wembley Stadium. However, it’s not clear if Davinia and her pals also went to the show.
The talented performers included Kasabian’s Tom Grennan and Serge Pizzorno. Matt Smith and Sienna Miller, both of whom had previously attended shows, were among the VIPs at the event. In the first tour the band’s 16 years since their dramatic split in 2009, Meg had already enjoyed a string of Oasis concerts, frequently documenting her experience there.
