The Masked Singer panellist Davina McCall got married to celebrity hair stylist Michael Douglas at the end of 2025, seven years after the couple first started dating

Davina McCall has shared a candid confession about how she really felt while tying the knot for a third time with her now-husband Michael Douglas. Former Big Brother presenter Davina was previously married to Andrew Leggett between 1997 and 1999, and Matthew Robertson between 2000 and 2017.

Davina, 58, and hairdresser Michael, 49, got married at the end of 2025, seven years after they started dating in 2018; the pair announced their engagement in September.

Now, The Masked Singer panellist Davina has confessed to Michael on their Making The Cut podcast that their wedding day felt “different” to other milestones in her life.

She said: “Best day of my life. I’ve loved giving birth to my kids, but this was different. This was a different thing. A beautiful, very, very, small and intimate event. Very private.”

Responding to Davina, Michael shared how amazing the day was, adding: “It was a brilliant day, wasn’t it? Pretty private. We managed to keep it quite private.”

In response, Davina agreed they had been able to keep most of the details a secret, despite someone taking a few photos outside the venue.

Davina’s heartwarming marriage admission comes after she bravely spoke about her treatment for breast cancer.

In a video posted on her Instagram account in November, Davina broke the news to her fans. She said she’d found a lump in her breast after checking herself.

She explained: “I found a lump a few weeks ago, and it came and went. But then I was working on The Masked Singer and Lorraine, and Lorraine Kelly had put signs on all the backs of the doors saying “check your breasts”, and every time I went for a wee, I did that.

“It was very, very small, so I got it very, very early which is incredibly lucky. But I am so relieved to have had it removed and to know that it hasn’t spread.”

This latest health scare followed Davina undergoing surgery to remove a rare, but benign, brain tumour. Davina was later given the all clear and recalled having “a breakthrough” on her ‘Miss Me?’ podcast.

She said: “I had another huge breakthrough after I had my brain tumour removed. I realised that I needed to de-stress my life.

“Interestingly, I realised that – but then the breast cancer, which I thought was a very, very frightening thing, made me realise that I really, really had to put that into place. And I have now.”

Davina’s diagnosis has prompted health advocates and campaigners to speak more about the symptoms of breast cancer.

Speaking to Women’s Health Dr Wuraola Adeyemo said: “Early breast cancer can present with subtle changes that are easy to ignore or mistake for normal variations.
