Former Big Brother host Davina McCall has been dating her former hair stylist, Michael Douglas, for two years after their marriage to Matthew Robertson ended.
Davina McCall, the star of Long Lost Family, said she “looks forward” to one thing in an emotional confession to the relationship.
It was only nearly 20 years after their friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship when they started dating in 2019 after Michael Douglas, who she first met while she was hosting Big Brother, first became her boyfriend in the early 2000s.
Their relationship has grown stronger since then, with rumors about whether or not they will eventually tie the knot growing. Even Davina McCall and Michael Douglas co-host their own podcast, Making the Cut, which they co-host together.
The pair revealed in a recent episode of the podcast that they had just met up with Joel Dommett and his wife Hannah Cooper.
Davina explained that the couple had known each other for a while and that they were all eager to learn a little bit more about one another. They chose a song and explained how it connected to a particular memory from their earlier years in a game created by Michael.
Davina told Michael during one of his emotional exchanges with the Masked Singer presenter and his wife, “Because we’re going to be together for the rest of our lives. I’m anticipating hearing the entire story and the entire song.
Davina later revealed that Michael had even created a playlist of songs for her as she recently had brain surgery.
Following a tumor discovery in the presenter’s brain last year, this was made. She had the benign colloid cyst removed after it was determined by further tests to be positive.
Before making a decision to move on with Michael, Davina had already become one of the most well-known faces in broadcasting by hosting Big Brother in its early 2000s.
Her career has continued to flourish since, including her long-standing role as co-host of ITV’s Long Lost Family alongside Nicky Campbell, where the pair help reunite relatives after years apart.
She has also recently expanded her impressive resume with a number of podcasts, including Begin Again, a program that “embrace midlife as their most transformative era yet.”
