Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham moved into a new, £11 million five-bedroom home in Beverly Hills, California, with her husband’s money, which her wealthy parents had given her.
David and Victoria Beckham have today been lauded as “sensible parents” for “instilling work ethic in their children”.
A friend of the family praised the way the couple, who have four children, “never forget where they came from” and made a savage contrast to Nicola Peltz’s family. Her parents, including US billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz, are thought to have gifted her the money to buy her and husband Brooklyn Beckham’s new £11 million five-bedroom home in Beverly Hills, California.
It led to Nelson, 82, and wife Claudia to accuse David and Victoria of being “tight with their cash” for not following their example and providing their eldest child with a home. However, the family friend hit back at this criticism, insisting David and Beckham – who wed in 1999 in Ireland – actually have come out the spat glowing.
Where is the motivation to work on your own two feet, they say? Do the Peltzes realize David and Victoria’s objections to not purchasing Brooklyn and Nicola a home are real? It is obvious that the Beckhams believe it to be true, but the Peltzes do not.
The Peltzes appear to be awful for having just spoilt their daughter because all this only serves to demonstrate that they are wise parents who have instilled a work ethic in their children. What message does that convey?

Despite their estimated joint wealth of £500million, Posh and Becks are understood to have always tried hard to keep their children grounded. However, Brooklyn, 26, agreed to move to Beverly Hills after Nelson, who has 10 children, offered to pay for the property, as it is said the place has “always felt like home to Brooklyn”. He spent time at school there when his dad played for LA Galaxy, for whom he made 98 appearances.
According to sources close to the Peltz family, Nelson, the founder of an alternative investment management fund, “threw money at anything and everything” when his children were growing up. It completely contrasts with the parenting and upbringing of Victoria and Beckham. David, now 50, was raised in a modest semi in Chingford, East London, with his father, a gas fitter, and his mother, Sandra, a hairdresser. Victoria, 51, was raised in Harlow, Essex, a more middle-class family, but she wasn’t exactly a millionaire.
The source told Mail Online: “David and Victoria, like Nelson, are self-made. But they value that and never forget where they came from. They have both made a huge number of sacrifices to get to where they are.”
