Dave Myers’ final moments, according to Lisa Myers, were tragically passed away from cancer in February 2024.
Dave Myers’ wife has shared a moving tribute to the late star who would have celebrated his birthday tomorrow. Liliana Myers met Dave while he was in Romania filming the first series of The Hairy Bikers and married him back in 2011.
She has been open about her grief ever since his passing, and she was by his side until he passed away in February of this year, at the age of 66, two years after being diagnosed with cancer.
The 57-year-old has now spoken out about the challenges of surviving milestone years after a loved one passes away, as well as about the last moments she and Dave shared before he passed away.
The heartbroken widow said holding her husband’s hand as he sadly died was an experience that changed her forever.

Liliana posted a photo of herself and Dave on Facebook and wrote: “We don’t speak about these moments, but today I will. It would have been his birthday tomorrow.
“Holding the hand of someone you love as they leave this world changes you forever. In that intimate moment, all the noise of the world fades away, and between you and them, there is just love. It’s the moment you realise how short and how precious is this experience called life.
And how fortunate are you to witness this loss of a loved one. In this fleeting last breath, the entire universe collapsing in a beautiful silence in front of you.
She continued, “I had this incredible privilege to witness this uncountable, sacred moment, something so tragic and beautiful, that forever altered my outlook on life. It was Dave’s final gift to me, serving as a reminder to cherish what we shared and to live more fully grateful and joyfully for the time I have left.
Thank you, my love, for every gift you gave me, because you made me the best version of myself. Thank you for allowing me to contribute to your life and the world.
Liliana discussed her struggles with losing her soul mate earlier this year. She openly described her experience with grief and the many difficulties she faces. Liliana stated in her moving message, “Through three distinct experiences to report. Yesterday, I was training for my motorcycle, and as I drove over there, I was considering giving up.
“Because I’ve already messed up and stumbled before, and I didn’t want to waste anyone’s time on me.” The most compassionate instructor I encountered, Mark from Darbyshire Motorcycle School, said, “I met him with compassion.” You can’t just give up right now, Lili. You have a lot of fans because of your modeling skills. You now have voice control. That made my eyes open, oommmmm.
In an effort to honor her late husband, she also revealed that she has written a memoir. She outlined the new book as “a tremendous challenge for me on many levels” during announcing it. But what, exactly? By writing Dave’s story, I honored him with all of my creative side. Our tale The reveal is coming today!!! “Dave and Me,” the book, was released in June.
