Danny Jones’ wife Georgia Horsley has revealed she suffered a painful injury while giving birth to their son Cooper, seven. The former Miss England model, 38, welcomed her little boy back in 2018 after the pair married four years earlier.
The McFly singer, 39, and Georgia have been open about their parenting and the challenges they faced together. Their world was rocked earlier this year when Danny was spotted kissing Love Island’s Maura Higgins at a BRIT Awards afterparty.
He went on to issue a grovelling apology while Georgia took a break from the family home and a step back from work. She has since returned and got stuck in with her podcast alongside pal Kelsey Parker.
In her reflection on Cooper’s birth, Georgia admitted in the most recent episode of Mums the Word. She revealed that he was born in three hours, but the birth was a long one and left her with a sore injury.
Cooper hooked onto my clitoris and tore it, she shared, “and you know how long nails are when they first come out.”
Georgia continued, “I had a stitch in my clitoris,” describing the agonizing injury and how she is now. He hooked on, and somehow he did it, but he didn’t do anything wrong; it’s almost as sensitive as it is.
Earlier this month, Georgia marked her podcast return following her husband’s scandal. She avoided directly talking about the kiss, but did discuss the differences between her and her husband when it comes to social media.
Georgia explained how, in general, men and women have different mental models. She remarked, “You can make it seem like you’re having a whale of a time on social media.” It might be a completely different story behind closed doors.
The model continued: “It’s like today, we’re recording on Valentine’s Day and I’m seeing all of these Valentine’s Day posts, and I’m like ‘are you that happy though?'” As the guests laughed with Georgia, she then added: “Are you sure?”
After weeks away, Georgia is returning to face the music, according to a source close to the time. After the incident ended, she took some time to herself before she could talk.
A separate source told us that Georgia’s decision to temporarily leave the family home wasn’t some grand gesture.
“It was just a girlie few nights at a close pal’s flat. Yes, she wanted some space, but she is home now, and while things are still fragile, they are trying to work things through.”
Another source close to the couple also revealed: “The break has done Georgia a world of good. Being out of the house and with her friend Rose Mahon was what she needed to clear her head. Her relationship with Danny was pushed to breaking point, and they are still trying to work out what they want.”
