McFly singer Danny Jones and his wife, Georgia Horsley, looked ‘ tense ‘ and ‘ grim-faced ‘ as they stepped out for the first time since his shock kiss with Maura Higgins.
The pair, who have yet to publicly speak about what went down between Danny and Maura at a BRIT Awards afterparty, were seen together for the first time as they stepped out in Richmond nursing coffees as they walked on the green. They both kept is casual as Georgia rocked leggings and a cosy matching zip-up sweater while Danny rocked baggy trousers, a white shirt and a black hoodie.
Following their united front during their walk, body language expert Judi James said Danny almost looked unrecognisable as fans are used to seeing him with a smile on his face. She told The Mirror: “There’s no trace of any performed ‘ denial ‘ rituals here to laugh off any recent rumours about their relationship.
” Walking side by side but with no linking touch and even an avoidance of linking touch, the pair look grim-faced and tense. Danny’s unsmiling facial expression makes him look almost unrecognisable as he’s always seen on TV grinning or doing his famous open-mouth ‘ fun ‘ gurn for the cameras. Both have their inner hands stuffed into their pockets. Not only does this create a barrier between them but Danny’s hand is stuffed so deep into his pocket that it suggests a desire to hide. “
She went on to discuss how the couple were out of sync with their movements and their look. Judi said:” There is a lack of synchronicity here: when he looks at Georgia, she looks down, and when she looks at Danny he seems to stare straight ahead. There is no evidence of any softening of the features here, that tendency to smile that couples do automatically when they gaze at each other’s faces.
“Danny’s shoulders look drooped or slumped to suggest unhappiness while Georgia’s look hunched, which can signal a desire to self-protect. Danny’s eye expression appears sad while there is some tenseness around his jawline here. Georgia seems to have pushed her shades to the top of her head to reveal her eye expression but there’s no hint of any eye-smile, just a look of sadness in these pics”.
A source told The Mirror that the couple are looking to ‘ put things behind them ‘ as they stepped out for a stroll while ‘ moving on with their lives’. The insider said: “It really hasn’t been a good time at all but they are very much together”.
Meanwhile, onlookers remarked how the two appeared “very serious” after being seen in Richmond, south-west London, nursing coffees as they walked on the green. But a source said: “They are positive people and can look to the future together. Things have been hard but they are moving forward as a couple”.
