Dan Walker posted a few innocent photos on his Instagram account despite being told not to take photos at the Peaty wedding on Saturday. However, his followers were against him.

With Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay’s wedding day surrounded by drama amid a bitter family feud, Dan Walker has come under fire for his “insensitive” wedding post. The broadcaster attended the extravagant wedding on Saturday (27 December), which took place at the historic Bath Abbey, with a star-studded guest list that excluded all but one member of the Peaty clan.

But while most celebrities stuck to the phone ban, former BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker was slammed for sharing photos from the couple’s big day. The TV and radio star posted two photos of Adam and Holly’s order of ceremony, one with the title page, and another showing the hymn they picked out.

Dan unintentionally enraged his followers after Adam decided to ban his family, despite the images’ apparent innocence. They labeled him as “insensitive.” Shame he didn’t invite his mother, one fan said.

Another user criticized, “Sorry Dan, but did you actually have to post this?” It might come across as insensitive for those from the Adams family who weren’t there for whatever reason.

A third follower continued, “There is something wrong with celebrities sharing their attendance when the most significant person, regardless of who was right or wrong, is not there.” Let’s hope they don’t let it pass too late. The young will learn.

Meanwhile, another simply asked: “Are some things not kept private?” A fifth disgruntled Instagram user added: “We live in a world where forgiveness is in very short supply. Celebrities will come and go, but you only ever get 1 mum.” Someone else typed: “Unfortunately his mum not there, as a mother she must be so disappointed and hope all the mothers who went felt something for his mum.”

Not just Adam’s mother was prohibited from the ceremony. His father Mark allegedly insulted him because he was invited to the wedding party, where his sister Bethany was chosen as one of Holly’s bridesmaids, with the condition that he sat behind the plus ones.

Just moments before the ceremony, the family rekindled their feud after the decision was made to exclude them from the festivities. Adam received a furious text message from his aunt Louise, his mother’s sister, as he prepared to tie the knot.

She wrote, “I hope you never experience the pain your mother has endured, and despite it all, she still loves you.” You two deserve a lot of shame. Shame .

“Remember on this, your happiest day, and on each anniversary of your happiest day, that you hurt your mum so deeply her soul screams,” MailOnline reports.

Caroline, Adam’s devastated mother, planned to watch from the crowd while attending the wedding, but decided against it because it would be “too upsetting” for her. She chose to spend her son’s wedding day at her family’s Staffordshire home in Uttoxeter.

Despite the feud, Caroline admitted the door is still open for her son. Speaking to MailOnline she said: “As a mother, all you want your children to do is be happy in their relationships. I’ve not done this to ruin their wedding. It’s their wedding, yes, it’s a happy day – but it needs to be said.

There is nothing I can’t forgive, and I want them to have the best day possible. They are both still loved. And I want to tell Adam to stand by one another.

Don’t forget the other people who are around you just because you love them and find it to be intense. I believe that family should have been a top priority at the wedding because it is such a joyful occasion.
