The pair made their relationship official last week, with the widower of Dame Deborah James’ husband, a highly successful Swiss investment banker.
The widow of Dame Deborah James has fallen in love with a Swiss investment banker. Throughout her courageous battle against bowel cancer, Sebastian Bowen had supported the broadcaster and campaigner. However, Dame Deborah, who passed away in 2022, had made it clear to her husband that she desired for him to find love after her passing.
Last week, Sebastian was spotted out and about with a mystery woman as they put on a very loved-up display while enjoying the recent heatwave across the UK. He and his new girlfriend headed out in Hammersmith, west London, as they soaked up the sun and enjoyed a romantic lunch overlooking the River Thames.
His new girlfriend is reportedly a very well-known Swiss investment banker, according to reports. When Sebastian, 45, and his new girlfriend were spotted romantically walking along the river while wrapping their arms around one another, Sebastian, 45, may have been celebrating her 39th birthday.
Susann Aulbach, who is currently in charge of investor relations at a posh London insurance company, is rumored to be in love with Sebastian. Susann, who is said to have grown up in Switzerland and resides in west London, looked sensational while wearing a glitzy red dress that was cut above the knee.
Sebastian chose a more formal look, sporting a pair of chinos and trainers while sporting a blue casual shirt with his top buttons removed. As the couple went about their day, they both looked incredibly loved up as they both walked hand in hand. However, Judi James, a renowned body language expert, thinks Sebastian and Susann could have been romantically involved before their romance developed.
According to Judi, “one of the main words that stands out from their body language together is relaxed.” She continued, adding that they don’t seem to have any feelings of tension or anxiety, which suggests they enjoy each other.
The hand clasp indicates that the fingers are meshed, but the clasp itself is relaxed and loose, so there is no neediness or cling. Instead of the social, more effortful smiles you frequently see when people are trying to impress each other on a first date, they are twinned smiles that appear authentic and have a coyness.
Judi continued, “Their body language appears to be synchronized, too, with a lot of mirroring suggesting like-minded thinking.” In terms of emotions, intelligence, and levels of confidence, this seems to be a very fair relationship, which suggests a strong friendship could have existed prior to anything more romantic.
According to a source, the pair are “very much in love” and it was “heartening” to see Sebastian, a banker at Pomona Capital, looking happy once more. He had been on a number of dates since Dame Deborah’s passing, but he was “very slowly” beginning new romances because Deborah was “a tough act to follow.”
Prior to her tragic passing, the campaigner who had raised more than £11 million for cancer research knew that other women would be watching her husband’s tragic death. She stated on the BBC Radio 5 Live program, “I have given him strict instructions.”
I want him to leave, Dame Deborah continued. I’m like, “Don’t be taken for a ride, don’t marry a bimbo, find someone else who can make you laugh like we did. ” I’m like, “Don’t be taken for a ride, don’t marry a bimbo.” She made fun of the list of people she didn’t want Sebastian to date, though. She joked, “I would try my damnedest to haunt him.”
