On Monday, Brooklyn Beckham slammed his parents, David and Victoria, for trying to sabotage their relationship.
Brooklyn Beckham’s bombshell post was ‘cruelly designed’ to cause maximum damage – with the timing as well as its explosive revelations, family friends have revealed.
The 26-year-old sent shockwaves through the world on Monday when he accused his parents, Victoria and David, of trying to sabotage his relationship with wife, Nicola Peltz. The billionaire heiress, 31, is said to have been left ‘heartbroken’ by her mother-in-law’s behaviour at her wedding.
In an astonishing claim, Brooklyn accused his mother, 51, of ‘dancing on him inappropriately’ at the star-studded nuptials at the Peltz family’s sprawling estate in Florida, in scenes which he says were ‘beyond humiliating’. David and Victoria apparently had no idea their firstborn was going to release his seething statement – which reportedly left Posh Spice “in bits” – and read it with the rest of us when it went live on Monday.

Friends believe the lengthy post was “cruelly designed to upset” the couple, who are said to be “devastated” and who were contacted by various family friends, who got in touch to share their sadness, according to the Mail. But who really wrote it?
It has been suggested that Brooklyn couldn’t have composed it alone because it is “too sophisticated.” The Beckhams may be concerned because they worry that Nicola and her enormously wealthy family are controlling their son.
Brooklyn claims that nothing could be further from the truth.
He claimed in his six-page critique of the Beckhams, “The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards.” My parents have controlled me most of my life.
I had a lot of anxiety growing up. This anxiety has vanished for the first time in my life since I left my family.
His sour statement was made just days after he and Nicola split from Matthew Hiltzik, their “attack dog” publicist. Hiltzik was trying to “reinforce” the couple’s apparent resolve to “get a rise out of David and Victoria,” according to the Mail.
Then, on Friday, a story in the New York Post claimed the family’s situation might be reconciled. Was this the catalyst for Brooklyn’s birth?
The hot sauce enthusiast also posted his attack just as his family jumped on Instagram plugging Cruz’s gig in London in what Brooklyn may feel was yet another example of the ‘toxicity’ of “Brand Beckham”.
He raged, accusing his family of using social media for personal gain, saying, “My family values public exposure and endorsements above all else. First is Brandy Beckham.
“Family” love is determined by how much you share on social media, or how quickly you leave everything to pose for a family photo even when it comes at the expense of our professional obligations.”
