According to BBC Scotland, Leanne Crichton, the current head coach of the Rangers, is in the running for the position.

Former Scotland international Jo Potter, who took over as manager of Crystal Palace last month, is expected to succeed in the Ibrox club’s positive discussions with her.

In both of Potter’s years as manager, the Ibrox side placed third in the SWPL last term, and won the domestic cup twice.

The midfielder has also won 72 senior international caps and has become a regular football correspondent for BBC Scotland’s programming.
