Fans are concerned that DI Costello’s mysterious phone call to an unidentified person on Coronation Street won’t turn out well for the newlywed DS Lisa Swain.
Coronation Street fans are growing increasingly worried about DI Costello’s intentions. The ITV soap aired its latest episode on Wednesday night, and everything got off to a glowing start.
After Carla Connor (Alison King) suffered multiple failed attempts at proposing to her girlfriend Lisa Swain, the Detective Sergeant (Vicky Myers) took matters into her own hands and popped the question on the cobbles in front of the Underworld factory. Carla, who has buried two husbands and divorced two others during her time in Weatherfield, gleefully accepted.
But everything happens as viewers try to discover what Lisa has hidden in her past. Lisa, who is the first wife of her daughter Betsy (Sydney Martin), was killed in the line of duty when she first arrived on the scene. Carla has been attempting to unravel the mystery while the viewers are unaware of how this happened.

When she was visiting Logan Radcliffe in prison some weeks ago, she passed him the name Tia Wardley. Carla’s Google searches on the name were fruitless and when she told Lisa about it, she was told to forget about it. It even caused a row last week when Lisa discovered a piece of paper with the moniker on it in the recycling bin.
However, Lisa herself revealed the mysterious name to her coworker DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) in the cafe as the happy news of their engagement spread throughout the Manchester backstreet.
She said, “I don’t care,” when she learned Logan’s uncle had been imprisoned. With the least amount of conspiracies possible, I want to enjoy today. However, Kit responded, “He might have Costello-related information. or Becky.
You’re as bad as Carla! Lisa retorted while keeping her breath. When she visited Logan, she looked like a dog with a bone, and all he did was give him a Tia Wardley-related dead-end lead. It failed to succeed. And that has caused enough issues for the two of us to resolve”! Kit, however, was already puffed up by the strange name and began to look for it.
After making a phone call at the station, Kit learned that Carla had been the last one to visit him, and it was assumed that she had been the last one. The DC then made the decision to dig on the computer, but DI Costello discovered him after work and led him there.
Costello reportedly made a phone call himself just before the episode’s conclusion. Costello said, “Just listen, no information about who was on the other end was provided.” DC Green has been perusing the internet. I found him earlier by searching for Tia Wardley’s name alongside Radcliffe’s because he has Tia Wardley’s name from someone.
” Don’t worry. It is in your hand. I believe DS Swain has been having an earworm lately. She won’t find comfort in being too close. Costello responded, “It’s okay. The call recipient’s response could not be heard. I’ll handle myself with Swain.
After the enigmatic phone call, fans immediately expressed their opinions on social media, with one user saying, “You may think we are in for a bumper ride coming up with #swarla DI Costello, you will find that Logan is the one who mentioned Tia Wardley first” Logan>, Carla>, Lisa>, Kit. “
Another person remarked, “Wow, Corrie Ep was amazing, thank god Swarla are engaged now, but Costello needs to be caught out now because I don’t trust him!”
Another said it might be related to drama that has already been teased, such as “So what if Costello actually gets someone to run Betsy over to keep Lisa busy and from looking more into Tia Wardley &,” “It wasn’t just a coincidence that they were driving a stolen car at the time and will likely be held responsible for it.”
A fourth questioned, “Cosciutto, are you talking about that as well?” A fifth person said, “I don’t want this guy to be the villain, I actually hate you,” and happiness won’t last long because of the ominous undertones of Costello looming in the distance.
On ITV1, Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 8 p.m. On ITVX, episodes can also be downloaded.
