Coronation Street star’s heartbreak over co-star’s tragic death

Lorraine Cheshire, an actress from Waterloo Road, made her death at the age of 65 after winning fame for her role in the Channel 4 drama Fleur Budgen from 2007 to 2012.

A Coronation Street actress described the heartache of her deceased co-star. Reece Dinsdale, the actor who learned the death of actress Lorraine at the age of 65, paid a moving tribute.

Her partner John Dixon shared the sad news on Facebook, writing: “The love of my life passed away early this morning 46 years, and now my heart is broken. To the green fields beyond.”

Lorraine was well known for her character of Fleur Budgen from 2007 to 2012 in the school-based drama Waterloo Road. She also played the role of Sue Benson in the Sky sitcom Trollied and appeared with Reece in the BBC drama series Moving On.

Reece, 66, who played Joe McIntyre on the Cobbles from 2008 until his character was killed off in 2010, paid tribute to the actress. “Lorraine Cheshire,” he wrote. @chesloza Such a kind and talented actor. . . so depressing. Lorraine, may you rest peacefully. xxx”.

Fans left their own sweet messages about the actor in the comments section. “Fabulous in Early Doors and Waterloo Road,” a person said. Lorraine, I’m so happy you’re a shining star. She was a lovely, lovely woman. concerns her family.

“Awful news,” as a second phrased. Such a sad state. person who is lovely. Good day, Lorraine. Lorrainee began acting when she was 35 years old, and she soon received her first role in the BBC series Cranford.

She made numerous big-screen appearances throughout her career, including roles on the sitcom Early Doors and in Holby City and Clocking Off. She then spent five years teaching English at Waterloo Road before moving on to Fleur Budgen.

Lorraine started working on Trollied in 2011 and starred on the series until its finale back in 2018. Lorraine’s Early Doors co-star Christine Bottomley shared an image of a lit candle alongside a glass of brandy and coke on her Instagram Stories as she shared a message following her death.
