Coronation Street fans have been left floored by Sam Blakeman star Jude Riordan’s transformation six years after he joined the long-running ITV soap
Coronation Street star Jude Riordan certainly caught the attention of fans after sharing some new photos online.
Jude joined the ITV soap back in 2020 playing Sam Blakeman. He rocked up to the cobbles as the secret son of Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and it didn’t take him long to become a firm favourite.
Sam has also been involved in several big moments on the soap, including the tragic death of his mum Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac), after thug Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) killed her.
And in 2021, the talented youngster bagged the best newcomer prize at the National Television Awards. Away from Coronation Street, Jude has starred in the likes of Channel 4’s documentary The Secret Life of 4, 5 and 6 Year Olds back in 2017 and played Little Phil in Katy.
He also appeared in Sky One’s, Brassic playing Tyler Croft – and his on-screen mum was portrayed by former Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan. What’s more, Jude is no stranger to keeping his 90.5k Instagram fans updated on his everyday life.
And recently, the actor left fans floored after showing off his transformation. Taking to his Instagram, Jude shared a series of snaps from a recent photoshoot.
His followers were quick to express their surprise at his transformation, with one admirer commenting: “Oh my gosh he’s grown up so much!” Someone else added: “Grown up so fast.” A third chimed in and declared: “Oh my goodness, little dude! You look so grown up!”
It comes after Jude was recently seen looking back at his time on Brassic, the Sky Comedy series which came to an end following the release of the recent seventh series. Taking to Instagram, he shared a number of pictures, which showed him alongside Michelle and their co-star Joseph ‘Joe’ Gilgun, who also co-wrote the series.
He wrote on Instagram: “I like the funny dog, it’s an owl. Kick him! I can remember every day I did on Brassic [crying laughing emoji]. However much fun you can imagine it would be X it by 10!
“Grew up with the greats. Look how young Joe looks. From sat at the Liverpool docks running lines with everyone in different accents [crying laughing emoji] to many hours driving to France to the best bacon butties to crew dogs and just hanging out with the funniest people. Brassic days were really GOOD TIMES!”
