Although Georgia May Foote has stated that her vitiligo diagnosis is “up and down,” the winter months are easier to manage because her tan doesn’t make it as obvious.

Former Coronation Street star Georgia May Foote has revealed that her autoimmune condition has good days and bad. The TV star, 34, was diagnosed with vitiligo which shows lighter patches on a person’s body due to a lack of melanin in the body.

She was questioned about her journey as she accepts the glaringly obvious condition during a question-and-answer session with fans on social media. She responded, “It’s crazy. Although it is actually spreading right now, winter is always preferable because my tan doesn’t make it as obvious.

She continued, “I have ups and downs with it.” Georgia is seen taking a selfie in the mirror with her elbow vitiligo highlighted in the most recent post. She has also developed other body parts as a result.

Georgia’s doctors informed her about the condition two years ago, and she has since followed her on social media. The TV host has been working to raise awareness of her condition, which she developed in 2020.

She claimed that the issue developed over time as “little spots” but eventually grew. She told a reporter on Channel 5 New that she “developed it in 2020.” It started out as a small spot, and it has since grown over the past five years. I now have it down my arms and elbows, and it’s all over my hands.

She continued, “And it’s obviously been quite a big change, as well, to my face.” I feel fortunate that it took on such a strange form when I was the age I did. I’ll do if I can be the person who can raise awareness for it by helping others.

Aside from her health, Georgia has also been dealing with drama in other areas of her life. Last year, the former Strictly Come Dancing star shared that her beauty salon had burnt down. She had trained as a nail technician to supplement her acting income, so the fire that engulfed her salon had a huge financial impact.

After only two years of marriage, it was reported that she had also split from her husband Kris in July of the same year, adding more heartache. She has deleted all images of the couple’s engagement and intimate wedding on social media, as well as those that contain their ring.

Georgia’s marriage to Kris appears to be over, according to a source at the time. It is a rock on the rocks. She is surrounded by friends and family, and she looks to the future. Before the couple tied the knot, the actress had been dating Kris for two years.

Georgia shot to fame playing Katie Armstrong in Coronation Street between 2010 and 2015. Sharing her joy in the run up to her big day, she even described Kris as her best friend.

She reportedly said to her audience, “I’m about to marry my best friend.” the one who improves me. The final month of being a Foote is now.

Georgia and Giovanni Pernice, her Strictly Come Dancing professional partner, dated each other in 2015. However, their relationship lasts only for one year.

Georgia addressed X in 2016 and wrote, “We have decided to split up. Nobody else is involved. Although it wasn’t an easy choice, you sometimes come to the realization that friendship is important, and this is one of those times.

We will focus on our upcoming work projects because we have very busy work schedules for the rest of the year, she continued, and we will do it well together in the long run.
