Conor Maynard has issued a health update to his fans after being rushed to hospital by ambulance over the weekend after the 32-year-old singer songwriter injured himself falling down stairs on Sunday, February 16.

Last year it was revealed Conor had fathered a child with The Traitors star Charlotte Chilton and allegedly told her he was not ready to become a father. He became embroiled in the baby row after Charlotte, who appeared on the second series of the murder mystery game show with Claudia Winkleman, told Metro Online he was allegedly the father of her child saying: “I’m doing this on my own. I don’t need him. I don’t need his money. I would only want him involved if he wanted to be.”

However, he seemed to have put his baby drama behind him while launching his new incredibly explicit song – ‘Hawk Tuah’ – a tune that left little to the imagination. His lyrics, which explicitly describe the sex act with a woman, left many of his listeners on his Instagram account less than impressed, with more than 1,400 comments clearly dividing opinion.

On Sunday, February 16 Conor took to his Instagram stories the singer shared a series of clips showing hs journey to hospital. The first captioned ‘Sunday funday’ as he could be seen laying on a stretcher with a head and neck brace on. The next video showed him being transported by paramedics.

Later in the day he issued an update for fans, saying: “I’m doing ok guys. You’re not allowed to laugh…. but I fell down the stairs. But nothing too serious, you can all breathe now.”

In December last year Conor reached out to his fans about his health as he asked for advice with taking the drug Diazepam. Diazepam is a prescription only drug that is typically used to treat anxiety disorders. It is also used to treat insomnia, seizures, and the effects of drug and alcohol withdrawal.

He wrote in white text on a black background: “Has anyone on here ever been prescribed Diazepam, but their anxiety is so bad that they’re literally too anxious to actually take it? Please reach out it you’ve ever been in this position. Can’t believe I’m posting this, but at this point, I’m not sure what else to do. Sorry I haven’t posted anything in over a month. This post kinda alludes to why.”
