After splitting from her former partner, Loose Women star Coleen Nolan claims she has “learnt to be on her own,” which has allowed her to have “some of the best years” since being by herself.
Coleen Nolan had a heartbreaking bedroom confession that she says made her feel “insecure”. It comes after Coleen recently revealed the past few years have been “some of the best” after she “learned to be on my own again”.
The 60-year-old parted ways with ex-boyfriend Michael Jones almost 12 months ago. Coleen has since relocated out into the countryside, starting a new life on a farm in North Staffordshire.
Prior to Michael the Loose Women panelist had been married twice, to EastEnders actor Shane Richie between 1990 and 1999, and to Ray Fensome between 2007 and 2018. On a recent episode of the Loose Women: Just Between Us podcast a listener wrote in saying their partner wanted to watch pornography in the bedroom.
Coleen was inspired to reveal that a former partner once desired to watch x-rated videos “every time” they were intimate. She said, “It’s amazing how quickly you both fall in love with it if you go to a takeaway and put porn on,” which is completely inappropriate.
That’s fine, but you can say, “I tried it and it doesn’t help me and it makes me feel insecure,” and that’s another conversation. Some women aren’t, and some men aren’t. ”
Coleen continued, “Where they have to meet in the middle is, that doesn’t mean every time they have sex he wants to put porn on, because that also happened to me, and in the end it makes you feel very insecure because you think, ‘Can we only have sex if there is porn on?'” ’

Coleen revealed that Ciara Fensome, her daughter, had given birth to a boy last month, making headlines about a new family addition. One year prior to Ciara’s engagement to Maxx Innes in Vietnam, the news was made public.
Coleen already has a grandmother for son Shane Jr’s daughter Amelia, who was born in 2016, and for her younger son Jake, who was born last year.
Coleen shared images of her daughter holding her newborn son, expressing her feelings in a blur of words. “I’m almost lost for words (yes, I know totally not the usual me), and I can’t even begin to describe the incredible range of emotions I’m feeling right now, just love, pride, relief, and happiness, just to name a few.
