Christine McGuinness, a reality TV star, announced her departure from Celebs Go Dating just before the new series’ premiere. She admitted to making a realization during production and has since released a statement about her departure.

Christine, 37, was unveiled as a member of the lineup last week and was scheduled to appear alongside Kerry Katona in the fourteenth series of the E4 show. The cast is alleged to have recently traveled to Ibiza for a trip, and filming was already underway for the show.

However, she made it clear on her Instagram account tonight that she had decided to leave the dating show while it was being produced. Christine acknowledged to her followers that she had “excellent intentions,” but feels that the experience will be too soon for her.

I had great intentions, but I soon realized that dating on a public platform and the attention it will bring was too soon for me, Christine said in her statement. They’ve said I’m always welcome, which I’m so appreciative of, but for the time being, I’m going home to my family.

Celebs Go Dating’s spokesperson stated in a statement that the producers “loved” working with Christine and “respect her feelings.” They continued, “We have loved having Christine on the show, fully respect her feelings, and we have assured her that the agency’s door will always be open for her in the future.”

Three years after learning that she had broken up with Paddy McGuinness, Christine became involved with the program. The former couple announced their split in 2022 after having three children together.

Since the end of her romance with TV presenter Paddy, the model has been romantically linked to other people. Christine revealed that she hasn’t “really dated much before” but was looking forward to a “summer of fun” when it was revealed that she had signed up for Celebs Go Dating.

She stated about joining the reality TV program, saying, “I’m really excited to be joining the agency and I’m going to have a great summer!” Who has any knowledge of what might occur? I feel like I’m taking a crash course because I haven’t actually dated anyone before.

In a statement from last week, Christine continued, “I’m looking forward to getting to know the other celebs, and I’m especially looking forward to the coaching aspect of things with the agents.” That will benefit me, in my opinion.

Last week, the lineup for the new season of Celebs Go Dating, which is said to feature a “brand-new agency,” was unveiled. In the announcement, six famous people were named, and one more reportedly signed up.

Along with Christine, Louis Russell from Too Hot To Handle and Kerry Katona from Atomic Kitten, who first appeared on the show in 2019 joined the group. Olivia Hawkins, a member of S Club, and Jon Lee, a Love Island star, are also included.

Mark Labbett, also known as “the Beast,” will join the agency at a later time, according to a previous announcement. Sam Prince, a Made in Chelsea actor, reportedly joined the lineup as a “last minute” addition, according to reports more recently.
