A knitted dress is a staple for winter styling, so it’s no surprise that there are plenty on the high street to choose from. Chocolate brown is having a real moment this season, with the Rib-Knit Polo Midi Dress from & Other Stories, £97, being another gorgeous pick. Coming in dark brown and dark beige, it comes in four sizes, cut in a slim fit silhouette with a classic collar and buttoned half-placket.
For a slightly different silhouette, Nobody’s Child is offering this Chocolate Brown Side Button Ribbed Midi Dress at a huge discount. Originally £85, it’s down to £43, and has a high neck instead of a polo design.
It comes in five sizes, and has long sleeves with lettuce trims, with chunky buttons that can be kept closed, or be undone to reveal a side slit in the skirt. Speaking on the dress, one shopper said: “Dress was lovely and fit everywhere but the length which hit the floor on me. As it was knitted could not be altered. Also did not realise it would cost £3 to return as it was £5 for delivery.”
Reviews often help customers make a more informed decision about their purchases, and while Christine’s Karen Millen number doesn’t have any ratings from shoppers just yet, we imagine it will still be a hit with fans. Falling to a maxi length, it’s great for teaming with gold jewellery and a pair of knee-high boots, like these Chocolate Brown Crinkle Effect Leather Signature Underset Heel Knee High Boots from Next, which come in at £99.
