After meeting and falling in love with American singer JoJo Siwa while appearing on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, Chris Hughes appears to have found happiness.
Due to the rumored romance with American singer JoJo Siwa, Chris Hughes has declared that he is at the “happiest stage of his life.” The 32-year-old Love Island star has since swooped on 22-year-old JoJo, surprising fans in recent months.
After competing on ITV’s Celebrity Big Brother, the two quickly developed a close friendship. JoJo was in a relationship with Australian blogger and DJ Kath Ebbs.
At the CBB wrap party after the show ended, JoJo brutally dumped her girlfriend, and in recent days, she and Chris were photographed kissing in a pool together in Mexico. Chris has stated that he is on cloud nine as the new relationship appears to be strengthening.
Taking to social media on Saturday, the star gave an insight into the blissful feeling he is experiencing as his life is falling into place. Sharing a snap of himself at a football ground via Instagram Stories, the reality star wrote: “One of the best days of our lives.”
He added: “In the happiest stage of my life” along with red and white emojis. Chris was also celebrating sport as Sunderland, who he supports, were promoted back to the Premier League.
JoJo reportedly has been planning a future with the star, and Chris made the upbeat statement shortly after that claim. JoJo is telling people that Chris is the one in a dramatic turn in the way she has lived her life over the past few years, according to a source close to the Daily Mail.
She feels more alive than she has ever felt when she is with someone else. She realized with Chris that this was exactly what she had been looking for a long time.
The source added that the pair “was an item,” saying that “it is a thing and it is going very well. “
Meanwhile, Jesslaynn, JoJo’s mother, appears to have embraced their romance by posting a collection of photos and videos from the previous week on Instagram. JoJo and Chris were dancing at Disneyworld at the time of the post, which was followed by a impromptu photo of them together. After JoJo and Chris flew 12 hours to Mexico just in time for her birthday, another photo captured the emotional reunion that took place last week.
On Wednesday, JoJo revealed that she was reduced to tears when she had to say goodbye to Chris as he returned to the UK. In a video shared on Instagram, a heartbroken JoJo is seen accompanying the Love Island star to the airport. She commented: “Tears coming from under the sunglasses.”
JoJo’s announcement on Snapchat on Thursday that she will be flying back to LA for a brief 48-hour stay before jetting off to London ahead of her two shows in the capital the following week suggests that she won’t have to wait long for another reunion with Chris.
JoJo posted a heartfelt tribute to Chris on TikTok, along with photos of her birthday in Florida, on top of that post. The Dance Moms star shared a list of adorable moments from her week with Chris and her family, including the stack of presents that Chris had given her for her birthday.
Another video featured a customized mug featuring a picture of JoJo and Chris together as well as other memorable moments, such as when the pair danced in Disney World, held hands, and gave a photo hug.
JoJo’s moving caption reads, “I was going to make a slide post of my favorite photos and videos from this last week, but TikTok used the LIVE version of the photos… My heart is so big and I’m in tears. I’ll cherish this week of my birthday for the rest of my life. It’s been the most magical week of my life, in my opinion, in a way that’s hard to put words to describe.
I had the opportunity to perform my favorite thing for a stunning crowd of Siwanatorz in Mexico while also enjoying some time with my favorite people. One second of this birthday week would not be exchanged for anything. The universe and how it operates make me feel so enchanted and grateful.
While appearing on Love Island, Chris embarked on a relationship with fellow contestant Olivia Attwood, only for the romance to collapse weeks after the season ended. He later dated Little Mix star Jesy Nelson form 2019 until 2020 and golfer Annabel Dimmock from 2021 until 2022.
